Day 1: Transfer to Mt Elgon National Park

This 3 Days Mount. Elgon Hiking Safari in Uganda begins with an early morning pick up from your already pre-booked lodge either in Kampala or Entebbe by any of our safari guides then embark on a Uganda tour road adventure to Mbale tour which lasts about 5-6 hours to get there.

During this mountain trekking safari in Uganda road trip, expect to be entertained by the fascinating road sceneries and stops that will make the entire journey interesting and less tiring.

These fascinations begin with a nice road stop at Namawojolo for a taste of Uganda’s goodness which is roasted chicken on sticks if you are a vegan, no worries at all because this place still has something for you and that is a wide range of purely organic and sweet Ugandan fruits for you to choose from.

From here, continue with your drive through Uganda’s pristine tropical jungle of Mabira which will definitely get you all smiles as it is beautiful to see.

Have another stop in Jinja town and also make a short excursion which is a relaxing boat cruise to the source of the Nile.

From here enjoy the rest of your Uganda safari journey to Mbale town which ends when you arrive at your already pre-booked safari in Uganda lodge where you will have a dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Sipi Falls Hike

Wake up on this second day of this short Uganda mountain hiking safari and listen to the melodic voices of several of the birds here as they sing their hearts off to the new daybreak.

Make your way to the dining and have a nice and heavy breakfast to give you the energy you need for the activities of the day.

Transfer from the lodge to the starting point of the Sipi Falls hike. Begin this relaxing but also body-shaping hike to the falls and as you walk towards the falls, look out for several of the birds that exist here.

On arrival at the falls, you are blown away by the grand beauty of these falls as you get to see a huge volume of water suddenly falling below a vertical cliff of about 100m into a dark dungeon.

Your arrival at the top of the falls marks the beginning of a new adventure and that is a blood-rushing abseiling experience to the bottom of these grand falls.

Get your gear on and start off this incredibly stunning descent to the bottom of the falls. If you are an expert in this activity during this descent you can get your phone and or camera gadget and take a number of photos of yourself enjoying this activity.

On safe arrival at the bottom of the falls, return to the starting point and transfer back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, start your next adventure which is a biking experience.

This biking tour begins from Kapchorwa town up to Chema Hill. On arrival at the top of these hills, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the flat plains of central Uganda as well as the Karamoja hills in the far north.

After enjoying these fantastic views, cycle back to the lodge and this concludes the second day of this 3 days Uganda wildlife safari. Have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Community Visit

Have a nice breakfast in the morning then transfer to one of the coffee-growing communities that are found here.

During this coffee tour, you are taken through the entire process of producing one of Uganda’s finest agricultural products on the international market and that is the premium branded Arabica coffee which is highly revered for its blend of a strong and sweet aroma.

The farmers take you through the process of planting, growing harvesting, and processing this premium coffee that only grows in the fertile soils of Elgon Mountain.

After this tour, return to the lodge for lunch then checkout for a return leg back to Kampala or Entebbe to catch a flight back home.
